Volunteer

There are so many ways to make a difference at Hilltop Neighborhood House:

 

Child Care Center

  • Front Desk
    Serve as a greeter, admit families through our secure entry, and assist in office.
  • Infant Room
    Rock, feed, cuddle, and play with infants.
  • Toddler Room
    Supervise and play (indoors and outdoors), assist in preparing meals, and help children wash hands.
  • Kindergarten Readiness (Preschool)
    Help with projects, crafts and assignments. Helpers also assist in preparing/serving meals, as well as supervising outdoor playtime.
  • Food Program Volunteers
    Organize, prepare and serve breakfast and morning snacks, and aid in preparing individual-sized snacks for remainder of the day.

 

KIDREACH

  • Tutors
    Help with homework, supervise children at play, lead art and craft projects, mentor children as they grow and learn.
  • Cooks
    Prepare daily nutritious meals for students. Sit and converse with children while they eat their family-style meal.
  • Front Desk Attendant
    Serve as greeter, help children sign-in and out, assist in office.

 

Hilltop Food Pantry

  • Intake Volunteers
    Serve as greeter, help clients sign-in.
  • Food Order Prep
    Full-fill orders for clients, stock shelves.
  • Project 64 Volunteers
    Help prepare and distribute food those in need.
